Mark Stevenson brings 30 years of senior leadership experience in life science technology companies to his role as a Board Member at YourBio Health and is a Senior Partner at Flagship Pioneering. In this role at Flagship Pioneering, he helps advance Flagship’s Enabling Technologies Initiative and works closely with senior leaders to conduct explorations in this area. Mr. Stevenson also serves on the boards of Ingersoll Rand, Harbinger Health and Ultima Genomics and is a Senior Advisor to General Atlantic growth equity.
Mr. Stevenson recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a company with over $40B in sales and a world leader in serving science through leading its life science solutions, analytical instruments, specialty diagnostics, and laboratory products businesses. He joined Thermo Fisher as Executive Vice President and President of Life Sciences Solutions through the acquisition of Life Technologies. During his tenure, he spearheaded several successful product launches and strategic partnerships, significantly contributing to the company’s growth. He has also previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Life Technologies and President and Chief Operating Officer of Applied Biosystems prior to its merger with Invitrogen Corporation.
Mr. Stevenson received his MBA from Henley Management School and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Reading.
